Weeks 1 And 2

Start with a light stretch, (high knees, buttkicks, shuffles, lunges). We will then start with a baserunning drill.

This drill starts by explaining to the kids the importance of running through first base. The kids will be in a line at home plate and we will send them to first one by one making sure they run through the bag. After everyone goes through twice we will have them "hit a double" and run and slide into second.

Make a snake out of cones. After 4 or 5 times through toss the ball to them before they go through the snake.

Getting into the drill portion we will break into 3 groups and rotate every 4 minutes.
